Field Ball Boy/Girl (Seasonal)

Position Summary:

The position of Field Ball Boy/Girl requires energetic people who have a basic knowledge of the game of baseball. As an essential part of the game experience, this position is essential in helping the game proceed as they will be tasked with retrieving foul balls.

Essential Functions:
• Retrieve foul balls that remain on the field during the game, in a timely manner;
• Collect foul balls and softly toss them into stands to fans;
• Provide players enough space to make plays to avoid interfering with the game.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Good knowledge of MLB Baseball Rules and flow of a baseball game;
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, jog, lightly run, and walk for up to 3-5 hours;
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include heat and rain;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
• Represent the Miami Marlins and loanDepot park in a professional manner;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:
• 12:10pm Game: Arrival - 11:30am / Departure – Game End
• 1:10pm Game: Arrival - 12:30pm / Departure – Game End
• 1:40pm Game: Arrival - 1:00pm / Departure – Game End
• 4:10pm Game: Arrival – 3:30pm / Departure – Game End
• 6:40pm Game: Arrival – 6:00pm / Departure – Game End
• 7:10pm Game: Arrival – 6:30pm / Departure – Game End
