Mascot Records is seeking a Social Media Strategy and Digital Advertising Coordinator / Manager based on experience, to play a fundamental role in the company's international marketing team. They will coordinate Social Media campaign strategy and advertising for our releases with artists, their teams, and the international Mascot staff.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create, organize, and distribute social media schedules across artist and Mascot teams to promote music and video assets on accompanying channels.
• Support the digital team and our artists in the day-to-day management of key partnerships.
• Work closely with artists/bands/PR and their management teams.
• Monitor campaigns as they proceed and make adjustments as necessary.
• Set up social media advertising for our releases and promotions across North America.
• Primary platforms include; Instagram (Meta), Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and others.
• Analyze weekly & monthly data to drive insights and increase advertising and consumption performance.
• Manage Mascot Records's social media channels.
• Schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok as necessary in collaboration with our Head of Digital Strategy.
• Optimize social media calendar for recurring events in a creative manner.
• Create release assets for social media as necessary.
• Edit artist materials and assets into compelling visual media to maximize social media engagement and momentum.
Your Qualifications:
• One to five years of experience implementing digital sales and marketing campaigns through Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads Manager and others.
• A college degree, preferably in digital marketing, digital media, visual media, marketing, communications, & or the music biz.
• Fundamental knowledge of the music business, streaming platforms, digital/social media marketing strategy, and play-listing.
• Awareness of trends across social platforms including (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Patreon, Discord, Twitch, Reddit, etc.).
• Understanding of how to interpret, leverage, and analyze data.
• Basic graphic design and video editing capabilities (Canva, Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Knowledge of Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, and other digital email platforms.
• Help create & assist with digital email blasts, for radio, advertising, etc.
• Eagerness to learn about the behaviors and platforms that drive growth in music consumption.
• A creative individual who can identify and tackle areas of improvement and think outside the box.
• Pro multi-tasker and collaborator who can manage concurrent campaigns, with an eye for details and aesthetics
• A quick learner with excellent written and oral communication skills, who works well independently but also is a team player
• A passion for music, understanding lifestyle trends and demographics.
