MARITIME Artists is seeking a highly organized creative/production assistant to help during an active editing, post production period for a feature film. This person will support film release coordination, social media, investor materials, outreach, scheduling, and general project organization across several other feature films.
Responsibilities include managing podcast/interview scheduling for an upcoming release, helping draft and schedule social media posts, organizing press and marketing assets, preparing investor packets, tracking outreach, maintaining calendars and spreadsheets, organizing Google Drive materials, drafting emails, and supporting general post-production coordination.
Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, a strong communicator, and interested in independent film, marketing, distribution, and the business side of filmmaking. Experience with Google Workspace, social media, Canva, basic editing, film festivals, PR, or pitch decks is a plus. Discretion and reliability are essential, as the role may involve sensitive creative, financial, and production materials.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can help bring order to multiple moving pieces and keep important tasks moving forward.
