SEEKING SUMMER '26 IN-PERSON INTERNS
Step into the heart of Hollywood storytelling.
We're looking for sharp, curious interns ready to immerse themselves in the fast-paced world of feature development. You'll be reading scripts, writing thoughtful coverage, building pitch decks, cutting sizzles, curating director and talent lists, and supporting our development coordinator in keeping the engine running.
You'll be right in the mix as projects take shape-watching how ideas evolve into compelling narratives and seeing the inner workings of a film development team in action.
INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Script & book coverage
- Grid creation/management
- pitch deck creation
- Research
- Sizzle reel editing
INTERN BENEFITS:
- Interns will get the opportunity to meet with all available executives and other staff at Mandalay Entertainment during their internship
- Interns get the opportunity to pitch a feature to the company at the end of the internship to demonstrate all that they have learned and receive valuable feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be detail-oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through.
- Must have a friendly, open demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Must be dependable and proactive.
- Must be able to prioritize the workload and use time efficiently.
- Must have excellent written communication skills.
- script coverage, pitch deck creation, and editing experience is a plus.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
The internship will be at Mandalay's offices in Los Angeles. Interns must be available to work IN-PERSON 2-3 days a week from 10am-5pm.
This is an unpaid internship for school credit only. Receiving school credit is required, and you must provide us with a letter from your university that confirms that you will be receiving credit for the internship. This internship runs the entire duration of a semester and must align with your school's schedule to receive appropriate credit.
OUT OF TOWN STUDENTS: Please make sure you are aware of housing and other costs to live in Los Angeles before you apply. Each student is responsible to locate and pay for all transportation, housing, and other expenses while in LA, and all personal expenses for travel to, from, and while in LA.
