Intern - Assistant Director

This is a Freelance Unpaid Internship

Seeking a solid assistant director to join our talented crew for an independent film shoot April 16-30th. Looking for a motivated, hard-working AD, ready to gain on-set experience. Must have a great attitude, be easy to work with, and no egos! Our goal is to not just find someone for one shoot, but the right person who will become a valid part of our crew for future paid productions. At this time, we can offer an unpaid internship that will provide college credits and on-set experience. If you become a valid member of the team, we promise to bring you on for paid client projects. The right candidate will have specific knowledge of the ''assistant director'' role, and be willing to help the director on set. Must be comfortable raising your voice, and steadily communicating with the crew, and extras. Responsible for helping with scheduling, sending out call sheets each night before the shoot the next day, and help keep us on schedule. The shoot will last two weeks, you will also be responsible for joining a handful of pre-production meetings.

The director's short films have been accepted into over 160 film festivals worldwide as well as won 60 awards and counting! We can promise that your involvement will give you great on-set experience, as well as a solid feature film, shot on a million-dollar camera package, that can be used for your reel and resume to bring you more work independently.
