Reporting to the Co-CEOs, define and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to maximize revenue for the ex-US Magnolia Pictures library, MAGNIFY titles, and third-party partner slates.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Define and execute global sales strategies to optimize revenue performance for the ex-US Magnolia Pictures library and MAGNIFY titles, serving as the lead negotiator on all deal terms.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize international screenings of library titles including festivals, retrospectives, and other institutional, non-theatrical bookings.
• Overseeing and coordinating the collections process across the library in coordination with the Accounting department.
• Regularly prospecting new clients for library sales, identifying changing client needs, and making strategic title recommendations.
• Managing ongoing client relationships, including regular communication and after-sales follow-up with key Licensor, prepare and update analytical producer reports for clients.
• Communicating regularly with Magnolia Home Entertainment (MHE) regarding direct exploitation strategy, cost evaluation, availability of subs & dubs, managing renewals, and revenue tracking.
• Providing oversight of Rightsline (rights management database) performance and evolution to maximize windows and avoid conflicts, avails reports, in consultation with VP, Operations and Business Affairs.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience
• Industry Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in film or television distribution, international sales, or content licensing.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in maximizing revenue for film libraries across international territories.
• Contract Negotiation: Direct experience leading or supporting the negotiation of complex deal terms in the entertainment industry.
• Management: Prior experience managing or mentoring junior staff members (such as a Coordinator).
Technical & Strategic Skills
• Rights Management: Proficient in using digital rights management databases (specifically Rightsline or similar industry software).
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of royalty accounting, revenue tracking, and cost evaluation. Ability to generate and analyze detailed producer reports.
• Distribution Strategy: Familiarity with windowing strategies for film, including theatrical, festivals, non-theatrical, and home entertainment exploitation.
• Day-to-day communication: Slack, Zoom, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Excel.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous oversight regarding data accuracy, contract management, and adherence to specific institutional requirements.
Background & Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Film/TV, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

Hybrid; required to be in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursday; Monday and Friday remote (subject to change) Hours are 10:00AM- 6:00PM.
