This is a Part Time Paid Internship
THE POSITION – Summer Associate
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program is an excellent opportunity for a law student to gain practical, hands-on experience and build a strong foundation for a career in entertainment law. The intern will work directly with our experienced attorneys and have exposure to the real-world environment of a fast-paced and dynamic business. This is a full-time position, up to 40 hours per week .
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Review and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements, including, without limitation, service provider agreements, promotion agreements, production agreements, license agreements, equipment rental agreements, booking agreements, co-promotion agreements, artist performance agreements, festival promotion agreements and consulting/independent contractor agreements .
• Conduct targeted legal research on various issues relating to the live entertainment business and provide clear recommendations to internal staff .
• Aid in performing due diligence on potential acquisition targets and other new business ventures.
• Communicate and interact with internal business partners and third-party attorneys to negotiate and finalize contracts .
• Assist with updating internal contract templates .
• Manage contract process and provide regular status reports to internal team members
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently enrolled in a U.S. ABA-accredited law school (rising 2L preferred)
• Strong academic record, with an interest in music industry, intellectual property, media and contract law demonstrated through coursework or prior experience
• Exceptional legal research skills, with proficiency in tools like Westlaw, LexisNexis, or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn about the legal and business aspects of the entertainment industry
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy

• Duration: 10- 12 weeks , aligned with the 2026 summer academic calendar
• Location: Beverly Hills, California
