Temporary Assistant, Home Entertainment Publicity

Lionsgate is the leading next generation filmed entertainment studio and is a major producer and distributor of motion pictures, home entertainment, family entertainment, television programming, video-on-demand and digitally delivered content.

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Temporary Assistant in our Home Entertainment Publicity department. This position will work directly with the Vice-President of Home Entertainment Publicity and will be responsible for providing administrative support including routing materials internally and to agencies, helping to maintain the PR website, booking travel/hotels/cars, scheduling calls, circulating breaks, processing expenses and setting up meetings as well as film specific duties including EPK and clip reel creation. This position will also be involved in a variety of projects as needed. This temp assignment is anticipated to last at least six to seven months and is an excellent opportunity to learn about entertainment publicity.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and computer skills. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Should be extremely detail-oriented and able to handle a busy workload. Prior experience in the entertainment industry and a college degree are required.
