Coordinator, Content Operations & Strategy Job Details | Lionsgate
Summary of Position
Lionsgate Canada’s Content Operations and Strategy team is seeking a Coordinator, Content Operations & Strategy to fill an upcoming vacancy on an 18-month contract basis. Reporting to the Director, Business Operations, this position will work closely with various parts of the business, including Sales, Marketing, Product Fulfilment, and Business Affairs, to help keep things running smoothly.
In this position, day-to-day activities include:
• Reviewing and verifying deliveries via Amazon’s portal
• Placing accurate orders with Lionsgate Servicing
• Supporting process improvements based on content lifecycle analysis
You’ll be joining a dynamic team in a fast-growing area of the industry, playing a key role in industry standardization projects and other initiatives that shape how we operate.
Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining metadata for worldwide partners including localized metadata and title ratings.
• Creating internal IDs using Lionsgate’s internal delivery portal and generating Cut and Manifest IDs for acquisition features and series.
• Populating customer metadata templates using internal and external sources.
• Conducting preliminary research for launch partners and territories, including metadata, ratings and dub/sub availability.
• Coordinating with Sales and Servicing teams to create digital work orders for expedient content servicing and rejection management.
• Processing partner inquiries and coordinating with internal Lionsgate colleagues to resolve as needed.
• Providing partners with onboarding documents. Tracking and providing updates to internal stakeholders.
• Providing localized ratings and metadata to Lionsgate teams as well as delivery post houses.
• Tracking and managing orders for next-day air TV shows.
• Managing catalog integration with newly acquired Lionsgate libraries and series. Inquiring with internal mastering teams and original content owners.
• Successfully engaging with varying levels of management at Lionsgate, retail partners, strategic vendors, and industry as a whole.
• Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, both internally and externally
• A genuine passion for Lionsgate films, television series, and the wider media & entertainment industry
• The ability to evaluate and solve problems within technical areas such as programming and distribution
• An aptitude for analyzing complex datasets, preparing reports, and drawing meaningful conclusions
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with an advanced skill set in Excel
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring thorough documentation and accuracy in all tasks and communications
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders
• Ability to juggle and manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with the Canadian media landscape is a strong asset
• Enterprise-level SaaS tools (e.g., SAP) a plus
