This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Internship Start Date/Season: Winter/Spring 2023
Internship Duration: 2/1/2023-6/1/2023 (Or until university hourly requirements are met)
Time/Days Required: 8hrs/week (1 day/week)
Workplace Requirements: Remote w/ possible In-office late Spring. Must earn school credit.
Award-winning filmmaker, Lesley Chilcott (WATSON, CodeGirl, An Inconvenient Truth) is looking for Spring interns to join our crew for an upcoming documentary feature film about rewilding, wolves, and public lands, and a potential music docuseries starting in late Spring. This is a great opportunity for students to experience the day to day of working on a documentary feature film with veteran filmmakers while gaining insight into the film industry. We are looking for interns who are pursuing a career in documentary production, and/or filmmaking, are eager to learn, are proactive with organization, and love to find creative solutions. An active interest in environmental issues and music is a plus.
Practical work experience will include, but is not limited to, communication with crew via email and Discord, development/research, footage transcriptions, and other various production projects when needed. BIPOC/AAPI/Latinx candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
This internship is unpaid for school credit only with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week. Internship will be remote with possibility of working in an office space following COVID safe guidelines (proof of vaccination, COVID PCR testing, Masks, etc.)
Internship will begin the first week of Feb. 2023.
