This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Magus Entertainment is a boutique artist management company based in New York City. Our roster includes several high profile artists in the Pop/Rock and Electronic music genres. We are currently looking for a parttime/sporadic Los Angeles area intern for one of our artists, who is responsible, comfortable performing basic administrative tasks and have a love and enthusiasm for music. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain music industry experience and/or to receive internship credit for school.

Requirements:
Ideally, interns should have a working and reliable vehicle. We will compensate you for gasoline. Also, interns should have knowledge of most Microsoft Office programs (such as Word and Excel) and be comfortable working on Mac computers. General tasks include but are not limited to handling merchandise during events and at the office, handling phone calls politely and professionally, creating and maintaining office logs, filing, running errands, web research, maintaining social media websites, digitally archiving documents, websites, internet based research, assembling and appropriating press kits and running various errands. Please be able to commit 2-3 full days in the week. Office hours are sporadic. This is an unpaid internship.

Intern duties with the artist are listed below:
*Research and maintain comprehensive industry database
*Create and implement new media and web projects for all our clients
*Answer phones and handle administrative tasks handed down efficiently
*Assemble press kits and coordinate promotional mailings
*Organized tour itinerary for artists and work on media campaign for upcoming tours
*Research press, fashion, and radio correspondents to aid in future promotions for Magus clients
*Maintain social media websites
*Conduct internet based research
*Handle Merchandise during events
