Intern - Music Editing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

MICDI Productions, Inc. is an award-winning music editorial company that has been providing services for feature films, episodic television, and movies of the week since 1987. Known for our responsive and reliable services, our family of accomplished editors and assistants enjoy working with many distinguished composers, directors, and producers. MICDI lists among its achievements some of television's long running favorites and emerging hits.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable intern to helping us out; basic duties include food/supply runs and office upkeep, but we hope that the right candidate would desire to put in some time (daily or weekly) with each of our editors in the hopes of learning what we do. We would prefer someone with a background in music who is Mac-savvy and has a working knowledge of Pro Tools, as well as someone who is comfortable doing light building maintenance and is capable of carrying slightly-heavy grocery items (like palettes of water).

We require a driver's license and active car insurance, and request that you live relatively close by so that you wont end up spending too much money getting here and back every day. Ideally we would like someone who can be here M-F from 10am-2pm to cover the daily lunch run and take care or any other pressing errands.

Internships usually last for 2 months. Although a paid position is not promised upon completion, it very well can happen if the time is right and we find someone who is a proper fit with our company. If you are starting out and interested in a career in Audio Post Production, then this would be a good place to start learning.
