The right candidate will be creative, proactive, and passionate about radio. This individual must be a natural leader in a team environment and possess the ability to accomplish remarkable results under tight deadlines. The Executive Producer will be responsible for all aspects of producing one of our daytime local shows. This person will also work in tandem with the Program Director and Assistant Program Director on program content, talent development, strategic planning, marketing, promotional campaigns, new media and production. We are looking for an individual who is passionate and dedicated about delivering quality programming that drives ratings and revenue and possesses the skills to excel in this position.
Responsibilities
In this position you will be expected to direct high profile talent, coordinate all aspects of a fast paced, high energy show as well as schedule high profile guests and deliver topical, compelling and entertaining programming. In producing a daytime show, this individual must be able to work with the production, sales, promotions, traffic and programming departments. You will also effectively execute every detail of sponsorships, promotions and regular features providing sales and promotions departments with changes in regular features, advance notice of termination of regular features and contest winner information Candidate will be responsible for research, analysis and reports on Arbitron PPM ratings and market trends
Basic Qualifications
Must have a minimum 2+ years of major market or network radio experience with a track record of success as an executive producer or comparable. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Suite. Proficient with digital editing equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in PPM ratings analysis and reports Must be detail-oriented and a great communicator Willing to embrace new media technologies.

Bachelor's degree preferred

High school diploma or equivalent
