Intern - Video Editing/Graphics

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Port & Passage is a rapidly growing production company that creates a wide array of content, from animated sketches to live action commercials to feature films. Our clients range from Nike to SKYY Vodka, and our films have won top honors at some of the country's best festivals. We've kept our staff small to remain nimble and efficient, and we don't believe in strict hierarchies of management; we like to look at ourselves as a team, not a ladder. If you work at Port & Passage, you'll be quickly implemented into our workflow; and if you show initiative and drive to excel, you're guaranteed to be entrusted with high-responsibility tasks and longer-term work opportunities. Our ideal applicant is someone who is multi-talented and can function well in both an office and production environment.

We're looking for creative people with strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro 7 and After Effects.

Editing taks including:
• Logging & Transferring footage
• Data management on external hard drives
• Cutting short form videos, from sketches to corporate videos
• Exporting, compressing and uploading to specific client specs
• Color correction
• Sound mixing

Graphics tasks including:
• Title card and Lower-third work with pre-existing graphics templates
• Comping/Tracking
• Additional skill with Illustrator would be a plus, but is not mandatory
