Sales & Marketing Analyst

This is a Full Time Job

Position Purpose:

Responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing team through the collection and organization of pertinent data that provides in depth analysis regarding industry trends, sales opportunities, campaign effectiveness and market penetration in a concise format for customer and executive use.

Core Responsibilities:

• Compile concise and accurate reports to measure success of business initiatives
• Use statistical tools for analysis that will enhance business efforts
• Gather and utilize Universal Music Distribution and retail customer data

Outline of Specific Functions:

• Perform retail analysis to support advertising and program spending
• Manage sales and market data for reporting and distribution to key executives
• Assist in creating presentations for applicable business units

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand how reports are generated and consumed
• Proficient in Microsoft programs including Excel and Power Point
• Working knowledge of Soundscan, BDS and Mediabase reporting systems
• A minimum of four years music / entertainment business experience
• General agreement and acceptance of the Company's core values
