Sony Pictures Home Entertainment distributes SPE and acquired third-party theatrical and non-theatrical product on Blu-ray disc, DVD, UMD and through new media (mobile and digital distribution) to the worldwide home entertainment market. Among the more than 3,500 film and TV titles in SPHE's catalog are the Spider-Man films, Hancock, Pineapple Express, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, the Seinfeld TV series and film classics on Blu-ray such as Gandhi, Dr. Strangelove and Ghostbusters.

The Financial Operations Group oversees all financial transactions in the Home Entertainment division. We focus on the financial process flow, maintenance and improvement. Our goal is to ensure the financial business functions are streamlined through automation, training, development and standardization of current and emerging business requirements. As the finance liaison we take great measures to ensure we meet or exceed our core functionalities to support and provide exceptional service to our internal team.

* Assist in gathering data for sales reporting and financial analysis
* Assist manager in preparing Rebates and special month end accruals
* This position will serve as the Finance liaison to various departments of the Company, including: Production Services, Client Operations, Sales Admin, Customer Finance
* Responsible for resolving issues that arise at the returns facilities
* Responsible for necessary data entries to resolve customer related issues
* Responsible for researching customer discrepancies
* Prepare required journal entries
* Monitor daily sales, returns, and adjustment exceptions
* Monitor weekly open orders and returns
* Assist in some systems testing
* Assist in preparing ad hoc analysis and reporting
* Responsible for all adjustments and orders get credited or invoiced
* Image Rebate documentation

Required Skills:

* B.S./B.A. Finance and/or Accounting degree
* Proficient level of organization, written and interpersonal skills
* Proficient level of project management and planning skills
* Proficient level of understanding of accounting and financial policies and principles
* Detail oriented as well as analytical
* Ability to operate effectively in a cross functional team environment
* Strong initiative to improve work procedures
* Ability to perform effectively, accurately, and efficiently in a dynamic environment
* Ability to coordinate information gathering from multiple sources in a timely manner
* Strong knowledge of Windows based computer programs (specifically Excel)
* Strong follow through skills
* Team player
* Entertainment knowledge a plus
* Experience in JDE Oneworld a plus
