This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

WOR NewsTalk Radio 710HD is looking for a web production intern who will assist with, and learn all facets of digital content for WOR710.com and its related websites, including story creation, editing, optimizing and social networking.

By working closely with WOR's Director of Interactive and Digital Content Coordinator, Intern will learn all aspects of digital programming, development and business. Interns will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge, and to ''learn while doing'' by creating compelling search-friendly content, based on WOR 710's broadcast programming (program segments and category specific short-form features.) Development will require transcription, original writing, working with related images, video, as well as some minor website production within our Content Management System. Interns will be involved in all promotion of content on WOR710.com through SEO, as well as social networking and other channels as identified.

The ideal Intern will have excellent writing, researching and editing skills, and already be active in online communities such as Facebook and Twitter. An interest in pursuing a career in journalism or digital publishing is a plus.
