''WWE In Your Corner'' is WWE's charitable arm that focuses on the company's anti-bullying campaigns, literacy programs, civic engagement, military support and 26+ year partnership with The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and expand upon WWE’s pro-social and philanthropic activities/events, programs, partnerships, and initiatives
* Work with SVP to develop and implement strategic plans and message platforms that will enhance and broaden the awareness of WWE’s commitment to CSR, raise visibility for our brands and talent, and increase benefits for our charitable partners
* Build upon existing and identify new community relations programs, and pro-social integrated partnerships and sponsorships
* Work with external partners to expand WWE's list of pro-social affiliates
* Ensure that all initiatives are merchandised appropriately to key audiences including the non-profit, media, and corporate communities
* Maintain and build upon positive relationships with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, and the educational community
* Ensure all programs accurately represent the company in the most positive light
* Work with internal and external partners to develop compelling content to promote community outreach to all audiences
* Design and maintain effectiveness metrics for community relations strategies and programs
* Manage, supervise, and mentor the Community Relations team
* Manage WWE’s budget for pro-social programs and charitable contributions
* Work with Human Resources team to manage employee volunteer efforts
* Act as company spokesperson when needed
* Keep current with WWE programming, Talent, products, and services
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience developing, organizing, and executing pro-social programs, initiatives, and events for an entertainment/media company (TV/broadcasting experience preferred)
* Some PR/media experience preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communications, leadership/management, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
* Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, effectively managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously while still paying close attention to detail
* Strong understanding of digital/social media tools and platforms
* Proactive, self-motivated team player that can execute independently
* Willing and able to be hands-on in executing programs
* Able to work flexible hours and travel for business as needed (approximately 35%)
* Valid driver’s license and vehicle that can be used for business as needed
* Bachelor degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field of study preferred
* Master degree a plus
