Sony Pictures Imageworks has immediate openings for Digital Production Accountants in the Culver City studio.
The Digital Production Accountant provides strategic financial support and analysis for Visual Effects (VFX) for Imageworks productions. This position is responsible for all financial and accounting functionalities on VFX films including production budgeting, forecasting, resource quota planning, general accounting, financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis. The Digital Production Accountant will work directly with the film's producers, production managers and Finance Management.
Manage all financial aspects of a production accounting: including budgeting, cashflow, cost tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting of final estimated cost.
BA/BS Finance/Accounting degree; CPA or MBA preferred but not required; Advanced Excel skill required, SAP & Access knowledge a plus; 3-5 years feature film production accounting experience required
