Marketing Manager

An independent record label based in Silver Lake is seeking an experienced marketing manager. We are looking for someone creative with experience in developing both short and long-term marketing plans which have included social media initiatives. Primary responsibilities:

• Conceive, develop and coordinate marketing plans for all the series’ within
CMH Label Group that helps drive the growth in both domestic and international markets.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase traffic, sales and visibility on all our e-commerce sites.
• Track campaigns and analyze how they impact revenue/brand awareness.
• Create a vision and voice for our brands.
• Experience or capability to work with key retail/online chains and build relationships with their marketing departments. This will include Amazon, iTunes, Whole Foods, Nordstrom
• Write blog posts and gather a pool of talented freelance bloggers.
• Maintain and increase content and initiatives on Facebook/Twitter etc.
• Manage content and delivery of email blasts.
• Research and cultivate cross promotional opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience initiating and coordinating marketing and social media plans and campaigns.
• Sound understanding of marketing principles.
• Wide knowledge of e-commerce/email marketing.
• Excellent writing skills that can be adapted to help build the voice for each label.
• Creative thinker who is highly organized and meticulous.
• Comfortable working with groups and accepting considerable input from others.
• Proof reading experience.
• Experience with web analytic tools including Google Analytics.
• Strong HTML, Wordpress skills along with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Previous experience with Joomla and Dreamweaver would be preferable.
• Strong interest in, and broad knowledge of, music
