Responsabilities
• Define and deploy the international sales strategy for Québecor’s corporate group, including the catalogs of Incendo Media, Quebecor Films, TVA Distribution, TVA Productions, Groupe TVA, across markets in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
• Analyze global trends and identify new business, commercialization, and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Develop and implement growth plans by territory, broadcasters, segments, content, and channels to increase the reach and performance of the catalogs.
• Solicit pre-sales for the broadcast of new productions and ensure proper follow-up.
• Define and track sales forecasts as well as quarterly and annual objectives, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
• Optimize sales profitability (pricing strategy, margins, bundled sales, subsidies, incentive programs, etc.).
• Ensure efficient management of commercial proposals and partner needs.
• Lead and support negotiations and the conclusion of broadcast license agreements.
• Strengthen relationships with existing partners and key partnerships.
• Represent the company at international trade shows, markets, conferences, and major industry events.
• Identify high-potential new markets and maintain structured follow-up on prospects and opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and the needs of international broadcasters.
• Identify high-potential content for distribution rights in the Canadian and international markets.
• Launch and update direct marketing tools for catalog content.
• Supervise and motivate sales teams, provide strategic guidance, and suggest continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing, legal, finance, and production teams to ensure strategic alignment.
• Prepare regular reports for management on sales activities, forecasts, and results.
Experience & Qualification
• 10+ years of experience in commercialization, solicitation, and sales, including at least 5 years in a regional or international leadership role.
• Experience in a high-growth or transformation environment.
• Strong knowledge of markets, particularly North American and Latin American.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-level sales cycles.
• Strategic vision and strong ability to mobilize teams.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese (strong asset depending on the markets).
