PR Account Coordinator

Top-tier talent (actors + musicians) public relations firm based in Manhattan is hiring an Account Coordinator. Collaborative work environment with many pluses and the opportunity for growth. Candidates must have at least two years experience assisting in the entertainment industry and live in the metropolitan New York area. This is an in-office position.

The goal is to facilitate the smooth running of daily operations and the success of PR efforts. We are looking for candidates who want to be personal publicists, are self-starters, ambitious, resourceful, well-organized, personable and confident. They must have excellent communication and writing skills as well as an analytical mind with an attention to detail. The ability to multitask on a busy desk in a fast-paced environment and a passion for entertainment are musts.

Responsibilities include keeping calendars and media lists, assisting in the organization and execution of campaigns, conducting research to support PR planning, creating press kits and bios, drafting and distributing memos, schedules and information, etc. Evening and weekend work required on an as needed basis.
