LN Venues, Operations Coordinator (Huntington Bank Pavilion)
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Leadership, Compliance & Safety
• Partner with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with Live Nation policies, Chicago municipal ordinances, and Illinois state laws.
• Conduct pre-show ''Zone Sweeps'' to ensure operational readiness, fire code compliance, and adherence to Chicago crowd management regulations.
Event & Facility Operations
• Work directly with the Operations Manager and Security Supervisors to perform day-of-show duties.
• Will assist in lead in day-to-day maintenance of the facility.
• Will assist with venue seating changeovers.
• Lead opening, running, and closing procedures for events.
• Oversee ingress/egress plans.
• Respond to elevated guest and staff concerns, including VIP programs, amenities, and service complaints.
• Coordinate with front-of-house, box office, sponsorship, and production teams for seamless event execution.
• Conduct safety, cleaning, and maintenance walk-throughs before and during events.
Security & Risk Management
• Implement and manage security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency procedures.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and manage ejection logs.
• Act as a point of contact for security-related questions for tours.
Staff Leadership & Development
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising operational and security crew members.
• Assist with daily pre-shift meetings.
• Ensure all staff are trained in guest service, safety, and Live Nation SOPs such as emergency evacuation protocols.
Financial, Labor & Payroll Management.
• Maintain timesheet logs, verify submissions, and pull labor reports after events.
• Ensure crew members are accurately scheduled in TMSS.
• Ensure payroll is accurately submitted for IT, Operations, and Security departments.
• Process, code, and track invoices to ensure budget alignment.
Administration & Coordination
• Coordinate with tours to execute VIP programs and auxiliary show needs (volunteers, activations, etc.).
• Process any expenses associated with VIP Programs.
• Coordinate with tours to execute requested security deployments.
• Maintain effective communication across departments
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
• 1-2 years supervisory or operational management experience.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge
• High School Diploma required
Preferred:
• College Degree in a related field
• Fork Lift Certification
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Working environment is fast-paced and has a moderate to loud noise level
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends)
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping
• Ability to wear an earpiece for radio communication
