This is a Full Time Job
As a Membership Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in reintroducing Comets basketball to Houston by building a passionate fan base and driving ticket revenue from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a franchise relaunch, connect with the community, and create lasting fan relationships. The ideal candidate is a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is excited to help shape the future of women's professional sports in Houston.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
• Sell a full menu of ticket products for the Houston Comets, including full season memberships, partial plans, group tickets, and premium hospitality packages
• Generate new business through outbound calls, networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings
• Prospect and develop relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and fan groups
• Execute both in-arena and off-site sales meetings to drive revenue and close business
• Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and client interactions in Salesforce CRM
• Manage and grow assigned accounts to maximize long-term revenue and retention
• Actively participate in game days, events, and grassroots marketing efforts to build brand awareness
• Attend community events, networking functions, and outreach initiatives to promote the Comets
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the Houston Comets, delivering exceptional customer experiences

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong work ethic, competitive, coachable and a positive attitude
• 1-3 years prior experience with a sports team or related sales field preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Present themselves in a professional manner and able to interact with all levels of the
• Houston Comets organization.
• Candidates must be flexible with their work schedule
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
• The vision requirement includes close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Nature of position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
• Must have the ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations as needed.
