Location: Glendale, CA / Remote (Due to COVID-19, until further notice, this position may be partially or fully remote to begin.)
Business Description: Music Publishing, Music Licensing, and Music Distribution Company specializing in providing songs by Independent Singer-Songwriters, Composers, Artists and Bands to the Film/TV and Advertising industry. Clients include CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox Sports, Sony, Disney, Universal, Fox Studios and more. Secondarily, we also provide Music Distribution services through our sister company, Beatroot.
Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Required Applicant Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Must have a good ear and passion for music
Technically proficient at entering data carefully
Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel
Be familiar with Music Websites (ASCAP, Harry Fox, YouTube Music, Numerator)
Able to work independently and as a part of a team
A self-starter
Extremely organized and meticulous
College educated or have relevant work experience
Job Description:
An administrative assistant position with Heavy Hitters Music consists of creative input (A&R - reviewing new submissions and sourcing new talent), creating pitches for music supervision clients, licensing/clearance, metadata management, promotion and marketing, social media, publishing, and more! It's a broad spectrum of work and a great opportunity for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of multiple areas of the music industry.
Office Coordination/Front Desk
Assisting Manager of Sync & Creative, Music Coordinator, and Sr. Director of Business and Music Publishing Administration
Intercompany Communications
Assisting with marketing needs (i.e. newsletter campaigns)
Social Media
Assisting with pitches to music supervision clients
Assisting with Catalog Management, Metadata Management, and Song Ingestion
Assisting with Digital Distribution
Assisting with A&R and securing talent for music licensing
Basic administration
