An Account Executive is responsible for selling advertising to local businesses and ad agencies, as well as soliciting new business to advertise on television and digital platforms.

Responsibilities
• Generate revenue across all available platforms
• Prospect, contact, and present to new businesses
• Develop new revenue through local business opportunities
• Build strategic and market-driven partnerships
• Manage an active client account list
• Conceptualize, create, and deliver sales proposals that align with station strategies
• Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to the success of the sales team
Requirements
• 1+ years of media, digital sales, or consultative/solutions-based selling experience
• Proven success in developing new or non-traditional business
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience in a consultative, customer-focused environment
• Ability to thrive in a goal-driven organization with accountability
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Experience selling directly to business owners
• Ability to understand and apply qualitative research to support sales efforts
• Related military experience will be considered
