Join HearstMade's video creative production team and help bring branded storytelling to life across some of the most iconic media brands in the world. As a Video Producer, you'll lead the creation of engaging social and digital video content that connects audiences with brand partners in creative, authentic ways.
Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
• Lead the creative production of social and on-site branded video campaigns from kickoff through pre-production, shoot, and post-production.
• Develop compelling story arcs and creative treatments that achieve brand partner goals while maintaining Hearst brands' editorial integrity.
• Collaborate with Branded Content Editors during the pre-sale process to ideate and pitch video concepts and execution strategies.
• Partner with Art Directors to develop moodboards, visual styles, and graphic treatments for branded video campaigns.
• Build and manage creative and pre-production decks for assigned campaigns and projects.
• Direct on-set production, working closely with clients and stakeholders to incorporate live feedback and ensure successful execution.
• Collaborate with production teams to determine crew needs, locations, logistics, and overall shoot feasibility.
• Partner with post-production teams to ensure final deliverables meet client expectations and Hearst brand standards.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
• 3–5 years of experience in video production within an agency, publishing, digital media, or brand environment with a focus on social-first video content.
• Strong storytelling ability with experience developing narratives and treatments for branded content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across creative and production teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable directing productions and working with a range of talent, including influencers, actors, and celebrities.
• A creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of ownership over work.
• This role is based in New York, NY and operates on a hybrid schedule.

$76,000 - $87,000 /year USD
The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors.
