Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
• Drive revenue growth across a portfolio of East Coast-based accounts spanning charities, entertainment, wellness tech, publishing, and government sectors
• Represent the full Hearst Magazines portfolio (30 brands) across print, digital, and social platforms
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans, marketing initiatives, and compelling client presentations
• Translate client KPIs into actionable proposals by collaborating with internal marketing, research, content, and talent teams
• Manage pipeline and forecasting through Salesforce, ensuring accurate revenue projections across print and digital channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agency partners to unlock new business opportunities
• Provide strategic feedback to leadership, including category-specific insights to enhance sales and marketing approaches
• Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
• 8 years of experience in media sales or related fields, including digital advertising experience
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals in a complex, multi-platform sales environment
• Strong network of client and agency relationships, particularly across relevant categories
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data and insights into compelling sales narratives
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with social media platforms; Salesforce experience is a plus
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to thrive in both corporate and creative environments
• This role is based in New York with a hybrid in-office schedule
