This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Are you a computer or data science student interested in learning what
happens behind the doors of a diverse global enterprise? Hearst Corporation,
a major consumer and business media company operating in the US and
globally, is offering a 10-week paid summer Technology Internship, where
interns will work across the wide range of systems, technology,
processes, and workflows that help to solve complex business problems.
Our businesses focus on creating engaging content and
providing trusted information and technology solutions. Our Technology Interns must be students with technology and/or
data science skills who are enrolled full-time in a Degree Program in an applicable field (computer science, engineering or a
related field) and at least one remaining semester of school after completion of the internship. Interns will work within one
of our Hearst businesses and collaborate with the technology teams to solve real-world technology problems and gain exposure to Hearst's businesses.
Meaningful Work
Our interns work on meaningful work assignments that meet a real need
for the company. Your skills and insights will help your team to deliver
those projects – this is your chance to bring your ideas and solutions to life.
Outside of the core assignments, our interns will work together across the
teams to solve challenges and develop solutions. These assignments will offer
hands-on opportunities to learn about our products while delivering real customer value.
Mentorship
Our interns are empowered to work with and learn from their managers, mentors, and colleagues.
Program participants will benefit from ongoing support from their manager and a dedicated mentor
throughout the entire program. Our commitment to growing our people, including through
mentorships, means we value and prioritize these relationships as part of
our learning culture.
