The ideal candidate can move quickly without sacrificing voice or rigor-and understands how culture intersects with fashion, celebrity, politics, and power.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pitch and write timely stories on culture, entertainment, fashion-adjacent news, and emerging trends
• Deliver smart, nuanced analysis on cultural moments shaping the luxury space
• Cover red carpets, celebrity style, art openings, industry shifts, and major pop culture events
• Produce short-form news hits as well as longer cultural commentary pieces
• Source and interview talent, industry insiders, and experts as needed
• Write with SEO awareness while maintaining Bazaar's elevated editorial voice
• File clean copy on deadline and collaborate with editors on revisions
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong understanding of the luxury fashion ecosystem and its cultural intersections
• Ability to identify and contextualize trends before they peak
• Confident voice that balances authority with accessibility
• Demonstrated experience writing for a national digital publication
• Comfortable working on tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
• Familiarity with CMS publishing systems and SEO best practices
