Assistant Market Editor, Harper's Bazaar

Harper's Bazaar is looking to hire a new assistant market editor. You are the right candidate if you are super-organized, have at least a year of professional experience working in the fashion department of a national fashion magazine, have done fashion market work, and are knowledgeable about the Harper's Bazaar brand. NOTE: For consideration, resumes must be submitted in PDF format with a cover letter and salary requirements. Because of the experience needed, May 2019 grads will not be eligible.

Responsibilities include:
• Handling French and Italian RTW market requests and logistics
• Compiling European Fashion Week grids, managing the schedule, and maintaining an updated contact list
• Managing the flow of samples in and out of the fashion closet for photo shoots
• Maintaining the internal database of lookbooks, recording shot looks, and managing exclusivity requests for cover stories
• Managing wardrobe confirmations and logistics for designer feature shoots
• Tracking important shoot information: location, stylist, date, etc.
• Overseeing trunk shipments and managing run-thru schedule
• Supervising and managing RTW closet freelancers
