Summer Paid Intern - Product Placement & Marketing

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

We are seeking a Marketing Intern who has an interest in the field of Entertainment Culture Marketing and Product Placement.

General Job Description:
• Researching and identifying new productions, opinion leaders and industry areas of opportunity in Entertainment & Digital Media.
• Administrative duties including assisting with daily outreach requests via Fed Ex preparation & in-person deliveries, marketing reports, press clippings and contact database management.
• Monitor and document product placement results through media, social platforms, and press coverage.
• Maintain & track upcoming film and television release calendars to inform product placement tracking strategy and timely results.
• Maintaining and keeping proper records of inventory including supplies, FedEx, product, etc.
• Assist with deliveries and event setup. Some lifting and moving of equipment/infrastructure as needed. Must be able to lift 20lbs+ at a time, as needed.
• General office assistance with answering phones, covering reception desk and other office related duties.
• Attending and contributing to company staff meetings as well as any other company required events, brainstorming meetings, etc.
• Attend/Work various events with the staff as needed.
• Following basic office policies and procedures as outlined by HR and found in the employee handbook.

An ideal candidate should have:
• Comprehensive understanding of social media, Google alerts and press searching.
• An interest in marketing specifically in the areas of entertainment & product placement
• Knowledge of the entertainment/music industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Los Angeles area
• You must be computer savvy (MS Office) with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a strong work ethic and strong organization skills.
• Ability to conduct themselves in the highest quality standards in all public settings.

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON INTERNSHIP, 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK. NO REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE.
