Glen Glenn Film Center is a premier postproduction studio located in the heart of Hollywood. We provide high end facilities for Film and TV creatives to bring their productions across the finish line all while providing the highest standard of client service.
Position Summary
The Hospitality Coordinator delivers exceptional client service by managing food and beverage programs, maintaining hospitality spaces and ensuring a welcoming studio environment. They handle daily kitchen duties, inventory management, and meal coordination while assisting with front desk coverage and special events. This role also supports cleanliness, holiday decorations, and weekend hospitality service to enhance the overall client experience.
Minimum Requirements
• Greet guests and provide tailored choices for food and beverages to suit both individual tastes and project budgets while building positive rapport with clients to retain their patronage.
• Develop and implement food and beverage programs for visiting clients; this includes sourcing recipes, take-out menus and catering options to ensure a positive client experience.
• Research local food and beverage locations and provide periodic updates to physical and digital menu books.
• Daily client kitchen duties including barista and food prep duties, espresso/coffee machine maintenance, weekly grocery orders and breakfast/snack planning. (Must love to cook!)
• Receive and place orders for guest meals, coordinate on-time meal delivery, and ensure that guests' expectations are met.
• Prepare in-house breakfasts and snacks.
• Maintain client lounge and kitchen: keep counters and cupboards clean and free of clutter, maintain stock of matching flatware, dishes, and glassware, and ensure replenishment of all kitchen supplies.
• Administer weekly inventory of kitchen and pantry supplies. Place weekly supply and grocery orders.
• Stock client spaces with notepads, pens, paper, etc each day.
• Sanitize mixing boards, shared recording equipment, flat surfaces in client rooms and sanitize all kitchen/lounge areas.
• Coordinate daily stocking of client/employee snacks, beverage refrigerators, coffee bar and break room supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness/sanitation of both indoor and outdoor dining areas.
• Provide front desk back up coverage as needed; receive and process visitors to the studio, parking assistance, etc.
• Cover hospitality weekend service as needed based on a rotating hospitality coverage calendar.
• Provide coverage for the evening hospitality shift from 11am-8pm, Monday through Friday.
• Be available to provide overtime coverage after 8pm based on daily client needs.
• Assist with decorating the studio for major holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween.
• Conduct research as assigned by the Director of Studio Operations for upcoming events, recipes, and other projects.
• Other duties, as assigned.
