The Ingraham Angle is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Producer based in Washington DC. As a Producer, you will write and produce segments and prepare elements. You have stellar communication skills and can deliver a quality product in a fast-paced 24-hour news environment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pitch stories for a daily program with a heavy focus on politics, economics, and culture
• Select video, sound bites, and graphics
• Oversee editing
• Write compelling and concise stories for television
• Conduct pre-interviews and in-depth research on a wide range of topics
• Produce live shots and packages

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in television production
• Strong writing skills and excellent editorial judgment
• Experience interacting with high-profile talent and guests
• Experience in a television news control room
• A passion for and knowledge of current events
• A solid grasp of the politics and pop culture stories of the day
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with iNews
• Understanding of tapeless workflow in a newsroom
