Production Assistant, Fox Nation

This is a Full Time Job

You are highly organized and have great time management skills. You are a self-starter with a ''can-do'' attitude and enjoy working and collaborating with a team. The Production Assistant will also assist with other productions such as town hall and live event programming and specials. The candidate should be able to determine, plan, and manage their day-to-day activities as well as long-term priorities regarding all aspects of the production.

Schedule will be Monday-Friday to start, but will shift to Tuesday-Saturday once training is complete.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct and operate live streams and shows in an automated control room
• Write creative and editorially interesting descriptions and work with graphics to create toolkits for the app
• Coordinate with other departments throughout Fox such as legal, finance, graphics, marketing, field production, and media relations -
• Potential for long hours, including evenings and weekends

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment under tight deadlines Ability to work under tight deadline pressures
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of current events
• Experience with live streaming/TV programming is a plus!
• Positive attitude and team player spirit
