Full Time Job
We are looking for a collaborative Project Manager of Digital Design to join our Creative Marketing team. You will be managing digital projects that help bring awareness and interest to Fox Entertainment's primetime shows. Projects can range from ideation, content creation, paid media, social media, Augmented Reality such as Snapchat, Facebook or Instagram's lenses/masks to any new technology that evolves the digital landscape.
You will partner closely with the Sr. Creative Director of Creative Technology Design and both in-house and out-of-house designers to execute creative vision into reality. You will be shepherding the entire cycle of these projects, including securing stakeholder approvals from kickoff to delivery, facilitating brainstorm sessions with internal and external creative teams, communicating with technology partners like Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, or YouTube, and managing internal and external resources to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget. The position also collaborates frequently with the VP of Design Operations to follow proper project workflows and processes implemented by the VP.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
• Hands-on project management from concept through execution, including the Discovery Phase (strategy, brainstorm, department buy-in), the Design Phase (design, animation, copy, integration), the QA Phase, and the Delivery Phase Track inflow of projects and assigns them accordingly to creatives by providing pertinent information and assets
Communication
• Liaison between external Fox business owners (social media, paid media, multi-platform distribution, synergy, design teams), external technology and media partners (Facebook, Google, Snapchat, Twitter, etc), external design vendors, and internal design talent
• Communicate clearly and efficiently between external and internal talent, allowing direction, assets, and knowledge to flow between groups
Resource Planning
• Internal – Oversee and schedule allocation of resources of in-house designers for all creative content projects, including self-ran projects and those by less-senior personnel
• External – Identify when additional resources are needed (freelancers and agencies) and coordinate the discovery, vetting, and hiring process
Operations
• Work within workflows and processes of the department (proper project management tools, resource tracking tools, ticketing tools, and creative review tools)
• Identify when new workflows are needed in an every-changing digital world and work closely with the VP of Design Operations to implement new processes
Budget
• Track budget spendings based on budget paramenters pre-established by department head
• Identify budget and scope creep and notify senior personnel
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience managing a wide range of digital projects such as websites, apps, digital advertising, and social media
• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business, or communications is preferred (but not required)
• Extraordinary communication skills; ability to simultaneously communicate with and inspire multiple levels of stakeholders as well as internal staff
• Ability to problem solve around risks and unforeseen issues
• Ability to identify when problem needs to be escalated to senior personnel
• Project management software (JIRA, Gnatt charts, Basecamp, Active Collab, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, etc); light Adobe Suite skills preferred
• Highly strategic, specifically regarding digital industry; ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously; extraordinary organization skills
