FOX Entertainment's creative music division is seeking an Associate Manager, Creative Music. The Associate Manager, Creative Music, serves as the music production point person for music-intensive network projects and mediates closely between BA, legal, production, and marketing teams to ensure legally sound initiatives and activations.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate, manage, and archive music licenses, songwriter agreements, producer agreements, composer agreements and oversee invoicing
• Supervise promo and programming cue sheets OBO Fox and Tubi from ingesting to QC to reporting
• Create, update, and administer reference charts for productions, breaking down key music dates, production timelines, budgetary overviews
• Manage and distribute all SAG paperwork
• Collaborate with upper management to hire session vocalists as needed payments
• Collaborate with Tubi through reading scripts, clearing and commissioning music for scripted and unscripted programming
• Run musicologist meetings with lead BA rep to ensure all original music is legally accounted for
• Oversee and manage audio assets and deliverables along with facilitating respective agreements from score to original songs for registration and archive purposes
• Liaise with Fox Entertainment scripted and unscripted programming in hiring composers, creating score, creating sound effects, engaging music producers for theme demos, etc.
• Provide Bento support in audio branding, reading scripts, commissioning music for upcoming TV series
• Produce original music and conduct custom compositions for campaigns
• Read all scripts and review producer meeting notes on all assigned shows to flag key musical scenes
• Track payments on all TV music licenses in conjunction with music supervisors and clearance teams
• Develop and maintain relationships with labels, publishers, composers, artists, producers, etc.
• FEM original music initiative including quarterly songwriting camps + custom launch songs for marketing campaigns, oversee quarterly album releases and single drops, coordinate with social media to provide marketing support promoting music
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 3-5 years of experience
• Knowledge of music licensing/supervision, television production/marketing, music theory, and the recording process
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in an environment with tight turnarounds and deadlines
• Strong communication and research skills
• Be a rockstar team player well-versed in project management as it pertains to music
