FOX 5/WNYW seeks DGA Director. Candidate should possess the proficiency to direct dynamic, fast paced local newscasts, coordinating technical requirements of the newscasts with News and Engineering/Production departments to ensure a clean, error free broadcasts. Additional responsibilities include directing specials and other programming as assigned by the News or Engineering/Production departments.
Requirements: Proficiency with production automation systems is required; Sony ELC is preferred. The candidate must bring a minimum of 10 years of significant directing expertise from a major market television station or production house with an emphasis on live News. A cooperative team player who thrives in a high-pressure environment is ideal. Flexibility in working hours, which may include weekends, nights, early mornings, and holidays, is a requirement for this position.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $50.36-50.36 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
