Fall Intern - Development

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Forest Path Productions is seeking a development intern for the fall semester of 2026. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the process of developing and financing feature films from within a young, dynamic company.

Responsibilities:
• Read and evaluate scripts, providing written coverage and analysis
• Conduct industry research on filmmakers and talent
• General administrative tasks
• pitch deck evaluation and feedback

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled university junior or senior
• Flexible schedule
• Excellent and concise analytical writing skills
• Efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
• Previous coverage experience preferred
• Curiosity about the film development process

This internship will be offered for academic credit and as such is unpaid, and only available to currently enrolled students.
This is a fully remote role, reporting to teams based in both Los Angeles and Rome for the duration of the fall semester, approximately 3 months. The role will take place from 9/1-11/30. The exact start and end dates can be flexible if necessary due to academic requirements, such as final exams.
The role will require 10-15 hours of work per week.
