Freelance Motion Graphics Designer / Animator (Broadcast Television)
Remote | Freelance | Project-Based
We're expanding our freelance roster and looking for experienced Motion Graphics Designers and Animators with a strong background in television broadcast design.
We're looking for versatile artists who understand the pace, demands, and creative standards of television production. This is not a role for someone who only animates. We're looking for a junior to mid-level designer, animator, and visual problem solver who can contribute from the earliest pitch phase through final delivery.
What You'll Be Creating
* Logo design and show branding
* Main title sequences
* Broadcast graphics packages
* In-show graphics and information systems
* Lower thirds and transitions
* Show opens, teases, and bumpers
* 2D and 3D explainers
* Style frames and pitch materials
* Network presentation assets
* Key art and visual development
Software Requirements Applicants should have strong proficiency in several of the following:
* Adobe After Effects
* Adobe Illustrator
* Adobe Photoshop
* Cinema 4D
* Unreal Engine
* Premiere Pro
* Arnold, or comparable rendering workflows
* Adobe Creative Suite
The ideal candidate is a true jack-of-all-trades. Someone who can help our Creative Director develop visual concepts during the pitch phase and then execute those ideas through design, animation, and final delivery.
You should be comfortable:
* Designing logos and brand systems
* Creating style frames and presentation materials
* Building main title concepts
* Designing broadcast graphics packages (lower thirds, transitions, mortises, etc)
Animating high-end motion graphics
Creating both 2D and 3D content
* Working independently while collaborating closely with producers and creative leadership
A strong design eye, typography skills, and storytelling instincts are just as important as animation ability.

We're looking to build long-term relationships with talented artists who can jump between concept development, design, animation, and production as project needs evolve. If you've worked on television graphics packages, show opens, reality series, competition formats, sports content, or streaming originals, we'd love to see your work.
