LAV Manager - Video I

This is a Part Time Job

The LAV Manager is the single point of contact on-site for all issues and venue interaction related to the audio, video and lighting for show production. During each show, the LAV Manager will direct and call the show, working with the Event Manager, Host Trainer and/or Hosts directly to produce the live show. After each show, the LAV Manager is responsible for completing a thorough post-event report and uploading recorded show footage.

• Coordinate and document weekly venue advance calls.
• Coordinate and lead vendors while on-site from load-in through load-out.
• Identify potential technical issues and remediate.
• Coordinate with the venue and our graphic design team on development of ribbon graphics package for each venue as needed.
• Direct the LAV team on-site and remediate issues.
• Sit first chair during the show and execute the following in accordance with FEH standards:
o Play audio.
o Camera switching
o Send graphics assets.
o Direct hosts with the assistance of the Host trainer.
o Call lighting queues.
o Call ribbon (fascia) queues.
o Direct the V2 (camera operator)
• Upload show footage and complete a post event report following each show weekend.
• Able to set, manage and operate the full video and audio package.
• Has an understanding of signal flow for audio and video.
