Producer, Camera Operator

Fairchild Media Group's dynamic studio team in New York City is looking for a versatile Producer with top-notch technical and people skills to start ASAP. Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and able to meet deadlines with short turn-around times. This is a full-time position with significant advancement opportunities at one of today’s fastest-growing media companies.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the shooting schedule of on-air talent
• Shooting events and red carpets
• Archiving & organizing video material
• Shooting studio segments with talent.
• Editing 3-5 news-related videos per week
• Editing segments for web and broadcast delivery
• Technical Requirements/Software Knowledge: Adobe Premiere Adobe, After Effects, Sony Ex-3 or Similar Canon EOS Cinema Cameras Other

Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Some knowledge of the fashion industry

Typical wage range: $65k - $75k

Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
