TITLE: FINANCIAL ANALYST
REPORTS TO: SENIOR DIRECTOR, FINANCE
DEPARTMENT: FINANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sales Reporting:
o Ownership of the sales forecast process for Label Services: FTS maintenance, coordination of meetings with sales/label relations to discuss progress and management of forecast updates
• Third Party Accounting:
o Coordination of the third party label statement process: interface with EMI shared Services on preparation, ensure accuracy and act as the primary support contact for shared services on label inquiries
o Ownership of distributed label statements reconciliation and issue resolution
• Business Development:
o Support Sr. Director on the analysis, financial modeling and board paper preparation for new distribution and marketing service deals
o Ongoing deal portfolio maintenance: track deal expirations, initiate final accounting and collection letters
• Financial Planning and Analysis:
o Accurate and timely forecasting of the Label Services P&L with focus on sales and EBITDA
o Assist with the accurate and timely forecasting of balance sheet and cash flow with focus on assets managed, working capital and cash flow after Investments
o Develop and maintain advance provision models used in third party forecast process
o Prepare and review internal performance reports for distribution to Label Services management: debit balances, sales by label and others
o Key role in the annual budget process: compilation, review and submission
o Management of label service marketing budgets: interact with radio promotion department, perform analysis and manage incoming funds
o Preparation of the monthly business results presentation
o Management of outgoing advance and distributed label monthly payments
• Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis
o Perform analysis of returns and street inventory, as required
o KPI Reporting and Support
o Strategic plan tracking
o Post Investment Reviews
o Policy and Procedure documentation
o Legal support
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree qualified (business, accounting, finance) or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting and/or finance experience; financial management, budgeting, forecasting, customer management, and policy enforcement
• Strong FP&A and discounted cash flow analysis skills
• Excellent analytical acumen, highly organized and detail oriented
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and macros
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, responding to issues promptly with a strong orientation toward customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interact and work with personnel from all operational areas and levels of the company as well as third parties
• Lawson experience preferred
