Studio Site & Social Media Manager
Electric Pony Studios
Los Angeles, CAThis is a Part Time Job
About the role
The studio is hiring a part-time Studio Site & Social Media Manager with flexible hours, at $22-$26/hour plus overtime. The role has two equal halves: running the studio floor on shoot days, and running the studio's social media.
On site, you'll check productions in and wrap them out, keep the stage clean and stocked, and take care of clients while they shoot. Online, you'll turn what happens here into content that brings filmmakers, photographers, musicians and brands through our doors.

1. Studio site management (core)
• Open the studio and check in productions: walk them through the space, power, house rules and safety.
• Check house gear in and out (grip, electric, furniture, props) against each booking.
• Run check in and wrap out: note add ons and damage, missing items or overtime, confirm the space is restored, trash is out and close out the booking.
• Be the on-site point of contact while clients shoot: answer questions, solve problems, troubleshoot G&E basics.
• Light cleaning and reset between bookings: floors, touch-ups, green room and restrooms.
• Track inventory of gear, expendables and supplies; flag repairs and reorder needs.
2. Social media and content (core)
• Own the studio's social channels: plan, shoot, edit and post content on a regular schedule.
• Capture behind-the-scenes photos and video on shoot days, with client permission.
• Train other staff to capture behind-the-scenes content.
• Grow followers and engagement, and showcase the studio to production companies, labels and agencies.
• Track what's working and share simple monthly results.
3. Community and growth
• Log client contacts, bookings and follow-ups in HubSpot.
• Introduce production companies, music labels, and marketing and ad agencies to the studio.
• Help plan and host community events, meetups and screenings.
