Dotstudioz is seeking an Online Social Media Manager for the Vancouver, BC office to manage Dotstudioz clients in addition to managing our new online community. We’re looking for a social media addict who maintains a personal mix of participatory expertise from among multiple social media channels.
All Applicants For This Position Must be Canadian and Live in Vancouver, BC no exceptions
Responsibilities include:
Ongoing outreach to fans of assigned projects
Encourage fans to participate in social networking opportunities
Sourcing and sharing the best tweets & content contributions for the community
Monitoring and reporting the success of community cultivation efforts
Providing up-to the minute support and customer experience to all assigned online communities
Follow the marketing strategy then drive that strategy proven by testing & metrics
Qualifications:
Must be experienced communications professional with at least 2 years of experience working in social media
Highly skilled in maximizing all social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Stumble Upon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Wikis, blogs, etc…
Already participate in other online communities and probably already have a blog
Understand how to engage and build an online & broadcast audience. Knowledge of the Canadian broadcast industry is a plus
Experience sourcing and managing content development & publishing
Must be proficient on a Mac and PC
An excellent writer who can craft a fluid , engaging blog, post , tweet, etc
Know how to work independently and structure your own work, but also enjoy working with a larger team
Be able to communicate results to management in a fast-paced environment
Eager to meet and exceed all objectives and take on additional responsibilities
