Contracts Coordinator

What You'll Do
The DGA seeks a Contracts Coordinator to work in the Guild's national headquarters in Los Angeles, CA to assist with the FLTTA and other non-dramatic contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Contracts team and Executives on enforcement of the FLTTA and on various organizing objectives
• Comprehensive understanding of DGA contracts covering employment in the film and television industry
• Outreach to DGA members and studio representatives to discuss employment issues, economic rights & creative rights
• Filing grievances when necessary to resolve contract disputes
• Develop and drive contract enforcement campaigns
• Support executive team in collective bargaining research and preparation
• Prepare and present staff reports at relevant council meetings
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to work closely with a team as well as independently
• Intellectual curiosity
• Flexibility, organization, and ability to prioritize
• Ability to navigate difficult conversations professionally
• Comfort communicating with a wide range of individuals, including member leaders, attorneys, agents, and non-members
• Excellent analytical and computer skills; proficiency with Excel
• Previous experience with union representation helpful but not required
• Work onsite 5 days per week.
• Undergraduate degree required.
This position is on-site at our Los Angeles headquarters 5 days a week.

Salary/Benefits
$68,000 - $75,000 /year USD
Starting salary depends on experience
