Decal Releasing, LLC is hiring a Financial Accounting Analyst. This role will be essential in performing our monthly processes around accounting, participation reporting, cash flow projections and related analytics. Familiarity with the home entertainment industry and film distribution is required. MUST HAVE Home Entertainment and Film Distribution Experience.
Responsibilities
Key functions:
Work with team to ensure Decal's film ultimate model reflects the latest estimates for revenues and costs by title.
Review statements for VOD, EST and physical activity received from various platforms to record revenues and maintain participation reporting.
Assist in preparing quarterly entries to accrue participations and to amortize film costs.
Prepare periodic journal entries in QuickBooks (accruals, re-classifications, etc.).
Process payments through AP module; maintain vendors in QuickBooks and bank platform.
Prepare cash flow projection and analyses.
Assist in preparing quarterly financial reporting package.
Assist in responding to requests or questions from Decal management.
Qualifications
Accounting background with FP&A experience.
Three to Five years of experience; Film distribution experience is a must-have.
Familiarity with QuickBooks Online.
Accounting or Finance undergraduate degree.
Strong communicator, service oriented, flexible, able to work well in remote setting.
Strong Excel skills
Salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
