Job Description: Artist Management Intern
Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Hybrid)
Type: Internship - Part-Time - Up to 20hrs
Compensation: $20 hourly
Position Overview
As an Artist Management Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team with day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone passionate about music, entertainment, and artist development who wants to learn the ins and outs of the industry. You will assist with administrative tasks, project coordination, and artist-related activities while gaining valuable insight into the world of artist management.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
• Take detailed notes during team meetings, client calls, and strategy discussions
• Prepare and organize documents, presentations, contracts, and other materials as needed
• Manage calendars and schedules for the management team and artists
Data Management:
• Update and maintain spreadsheets for tour schedules, budgets, contacts, and project timelines
• Organize digital files and ensure all records are up-to-date
Communication & Coordination:
• Assist with email correspondence and follow-ups with clients, vendors, venues, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, or travel arrangements for artists or team members
Social Media & Marketing Support:
• Help monitor social media accounts for artists or the management company (if applicable)
• Research trends or opportunities for fan engagement on digital platforms
• Video / Photo editing and social media post preparation as needed
Event & Tour Support:
• Assist in planning promotional events, showcases, or live performances
• Help with tour-related tasks such as advancing shows or organizing itineraries
Research & Insights:
• Conduct research on industry trends, potential collaborators, venues, or brand partnerships
• Compile reports on streaming performance or audience engagement metrics
Exec. Support:
• Help the CEO prepare for the weekly meetings focusing on the larger Music Industry
• This may include organizing materials, slide decks, and handouts
• Research current industry case studies, data, and news to support discussions and keep content up to date
• Attend certain sessions in person alongside the CEO, assisting in an informal assistant capacity - helping distribute materials, and support meeting flow
Creative Input (Optional):
• Brainstorm ideas for marketing campaigns or creative projects for artists
General Team Support:
• Run occasional errands (local to Beverly Hills)
• Provide ad hoc support on various projects as they arise
Qualifications
• Currently Enrolled in College
• Based in Los Angeles, CA
• Reliable Transportation
• Passionate about music/entertainment and eager to learn about artist management
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Slack, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and DropBox
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
• Experience with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, etc
• Photoshop / Canva
• Familiarity with music streaming services and related products
• Basic knowledge of music/entertainment industry terms or practices
• Strong logistical management skills
