Crush Studio is looking for two detail-oriented Event Production Assistants to assist our team for an on-site installation at a lounge space for Miami Grand Prix.
Rate: $20/hour on W9
What
Crush Studio is working in partnership with a Fortune 500 company to makeover a lounge space at the Miami Grand Prix event in Miami.
When:
Install: Roughly 8-10 hours/day from 4/21-4/30
Flex: Potential hours available 5/1-5/4
Strike: Roughly 8-10 hours/day from 5/8-5/10
Where: Miami Grand Prix in Miami, FL
Responsibilities: The Production Coordinator will assist in the installation of an event in collaboration with a project team. The ideal applicant will have a demonstrated talent for spatial layout and design, as there may be some styling elements required of the position. This person will be one of the in person faces of the project, so professionalism and excellent communication skills are a must.
The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities:
• Work with team to accept and inventory shipments
• Work with team to assist in delivery and removal of activation elements
• Assist team in building furniture
• Move furniture, decor, etc. to prepare space and supporting areas
• Support build teams with prop and set construction
• Assist in the styling of the event in coordination with our in-house designer
• Run errands as needed to pick up supplies, meals, etc.
• Provide support and frequent updates to the project team
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in working production, preferably live events.
• A valid driver's license and a vehicle, preferably larger than a sedan.
Skills:
• Ability to physically lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
• Ability to utilize a ladder, hand drill, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Ability to communicate with multiple vendors during installation and strike.
• Highly motivated and passionate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with our team as well as the client.
• Extremely organized and responsive.
• Possess the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to stay calm, work hard, and be dedicated to finding solutions.
• Strong technological problem-solving skills and a high-level attention to detail.
