We're in the early stages of post and are seeking an up-and-coming film editor to join our team.
We are looking for a story editor/editor interested in earning academic credits and/or deferred compensation. We are estimating this project will take 6-8 weeks.
This opportunity would be perfect for an editor looking for a stepping stone into the documentary/film industry. We are creating a sizzle reel for a documentary series.
The ideal candidate should be:
• Self-motivated and able to work independently (we'll guide but won't micromanage).
• Passionate about storytelling and eager to showcase their editing talent on a real-world project.
• Passionate about music- rock, jazz, blues, fusion -which is central to the project's narrative.

We want to begin looking at interested candidates now and throughout January and February. The tentative post-production schedule starts mid-February 2026.

We are currently producing a docuseries featuring famous rock and jazz musicians, with producers who have worked on notable documentaries such as Cellblocks to Mountaintops podcast and video series, Buffalo Soldiers: Fighting on Two Fronts (PBS), the four-part series Hacking Your Mind (PBS), Guys N' Divas: Battle of the High School Musicals (Lionsgate/Showtime), and Beyond the Mat (Imagine Ent/Universal).
